RoboCUT is an innovative robotic solution which automatically optimises and maps the layout of packaging liners on standard cardboard sheets, cuts the layouts, and prints the package codes ensuring a flexible and rapid product life cycle.
To optimise the last stage of the production process (packaging), the packaging process is easily controlled and able to deliver custom packages for a variety of products. We use robot solutions which automatically optimise and map the layout of packaging liners on standard cardboard sheets, cuts the layouts ensuring a flexible and rapid product life cycle. The project RoboCut let us remove the technological challenges of finding the right packaging for custom production by enabling companies to tackle their packing issues in an agile approach and allows us to be more competitive globally and against the other manufacturers. A key role is helping custom small batch manufacturing by providing an agile and flexible system for packaging-on-demand needs. In the future business prospects, we see that this project will help to be more flexible by customising packaging for the products we are or will develop. It will help to pack our products according to our customers' needs in time and in different sizes. It will give ability to make custom packaging in-site which reduces the lead time and extends the ability to engage in agile production which positively impacts overall customer experience and business results. We will produce different type of boxes just for orders and will consolidate and optimise our packages.
